Job Purpose
The Director of Merchandising leads the strategy and execution of women’s merchandising across the Americas. The role ensures regional needs are aligned with the global brand strategy while delivering sales growth, profitability and a seamless client experience. Acting as the key voice for Women’s categories, the Director works closely with regional teams and HQ to ensure a cohesive and commercially successful product strategy.

Responsibilities
The role oversees seasonal buying across all women’s categories, attending key buying campaigns in Paris and London and developing assortments that reflect both global direction and regional demand. Through detailed analysis of sales performance, stock levels and market trends, the Director drives strong sell-through, accurate forecasting and effective in-season replenishment.

The Director works closely with Planning, Logistics and Retail teams to manage inventory flow, optimise store performance and ensure product availability across stores and e-commerce. The role also supports product launches, seasonal training and go-to-market initiatives in collaboration with HQ and regional partners. In addition, the Director partners with Visual Merchandising to ensure impactful product presentation during launches, floor sets and key campaigns, while regularly visiting markets to understand client behaviour, competitor activity and pricing dynamics, ensuring regional insights are shared with HQ.

Personal Profile
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the luxury market and a refined product sensibility, with proven experience managing women’s categories at a senior level. They demonstrate strong leadership, analytical and planning skills, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The role requires a highly organised, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities while building strong cross-functional partnerships.

Education and Experience Required
A bachelor’s degree is required, along with 6–8 years of experience at Manager level within luxury retail buying in a multi-store environment. Experience in Women’s RTW is essential, with footwear and accessories experience highly preferred.
