Senior Brand Marketing Manager

Maison Margiela is seeking a Senior Brand Marketing Manager to join our global marketing team. Reporting directly to the Head of Brand Marketing, this role will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing strategic initiatives that enhance the brand’s visibility, cultural relevance, and commercial impact. You will lead 360° marketing efforts across the organization, ensuring cohesive and innovative activations that reflect Margiela’s unique DNA and creative vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of Brand Marketing and cross-functional teams to implement brand strategies rooted in Maison Margiela’s heritage, creative direction, and product vision.
  • Develop and execute global go-to-market plans for Maison Margiela and MM6, ensuring alignment across creative, commercial, and channel teams.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of brand marketing projects, including timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Brief and collaborate with PR, Social, Digital, Media, Events, VM, and E-commerce teams to deliver integrated brand activations aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Drive 360° marketing planning and execution for seasonal collections, fashion shows, product launches, and storytelling initiatives.
  • Identify cultural trends, partnerships, and emerging platforms to engage new audiences and strengthen community connections.
  • Work closely with commercial, merchandising, VM, and product marketing teams to balance brand storytelling with business priorities.
  • Support regional teams in adapting global strategies into locally relevant activations while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions and elevate internal thinking.
  • Prepare and present key marketing documents, including launch plans, quarterly business reviews, channel toolkits, competitor analyses, and storytelling guidelines.
  • Champion Maison Margiela’s unconventional and creative values while ensuring operational excellence.

Profile & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, ideally within the luxury fashion industry.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Exceptional communication skills with clarity and precision.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Open-minded, adaptable, and collaborative with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
  • Passionate about marketing, creativity, and cultural trends.
  • Resilient and goal-oriented, thriving under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
